Small Groups at Unity

Unity of Phoenix Spiritual Center offers a wide variety of small groups through which it is easy to make friends and create loving relationships in our spiritual community.

Our small groups are created by congregants. These groups invite like-hearted people with similar interests to meet and establish a greater connection and to support the ministry.

Please note that Unity of Phoenix Spiritual Center offices are closed on Fridays and Saturdays. Although some groups may meet on the grounds on those days, the the buildings will be locked, and no one will be answering phones.

Helping Parents Heal

Currently Meeting via Zoom each month - join our email list to receive notices

This group is dedicated to assisting parents who have lost children, giving them support and resources to aid in their healing process. The group goes a step beyond many similar groups by allowing the open discussion of spiritual experiences and evidence for the afterlife in a non-dogmatic way. Everyone is welcome, regardless of religious (or non-religious) background, and open dialogue is encouraged.

For more information, email Elizabeth Boisson.

The Rainbow Social Group

Contact us at

The Unity of Phoenix Rainbow Group is a diverse group of LGBTQ+ congregants and allies who focus on the 3 S's -Spirit, Service and Social.

We create opportunities to deepen our spiritual practice by establishing service teams to assist our local community (Habitat for Humanity, food drives, LGBTQ+ youth organizations...); support one another; and encourage friendships through social connections within our Unity community. We gather together for both on- and off-campus activities throughout the year.

Do some good. Have some fun. Make some friends!

Unity Hiking Group

Each month we  provide a few hiking options to choose from, ranging from weekday easy  and fitness hikes to Saturday Challenge hikes. Pick and choose those you want to attend. Please make sure you RSVP to the organizer for any hike in which you plan to participate so they can look for you at the starting trailhead. We want to be sure no one is overlooked or left behind!
