Youth & Family Ministries

Currently as many as 300 children and teens participate each week in programs that deepen their relationships with God and each other. Mid-week programs are also provided to help our young people deepen their spiritual understanding.

Our primary role as spiritual educators at Unity of Phoenix is to facilitate spiritual self-discovery, rather than to provide religious education. We believe we are all spiritual beings in a human experience. Our spirituality is a part of us all — not something that needs to be instilled by someone else, but something that needs to be touched and drawn out through our awareness.

Unity teachings say, "Here are ideas that we feel are true about God, about yourself, about life. If you feel that any of these ideas are acceptable and useful, then use them."

We invite you to explore what you believe, to practice your religion at whatever level you have reached, and to do whatever you feel is right and necessary to establish your own right relationship with God. In addition to Sunday and Wednesday classes, teen activities include friends, fun, social outings, service opportunities, retreats, and much more.

The Prayer of Faith

God is my help in every need;
God does my every hunger feed;
God walks beside me, guides my way
Through every moment of the day.

I now am wise, I now am true,
Patient, kind and loving, too.
All things I am, can do, and be
Through Christ, the truth that is in me.

God is my health, I can’t be sick;
God is my strength, unfailing, quick;
God is my all, I know no fear,
Since God and Love and Truth are here.

Amen
