Children's Ministry
The purpose of our Children's Ministry is to create
an environment in which each one's Christ nature is acknowledged and
supported through his or her journey of spiritual unfoldment.
We Believe:
-
The role of the teacher and the learner, adult
and child, are woven together interchangeably in a gentle dance.
-
Children are full and complete spiritual beings who are to be
loved, nurtured, and kept safe on their spiritual journey.
-
Children and adults have equal value and are to be equally respected.
-
Learning is a natural, joyful, internal process unfolding differently
in every individual.
-
Teaching is a delicate balance that gives children the freedom
to express within a structured environment.

* We offer a safe, welcoming environment where little ones are loved
and cared for by a consistent and trained staff.
Each lesson is based on a Truth principle that is explored through
'wonder' questions (open-ended) and active play (art, drama, creating,
thinking, etc.). The classroom environment is structured to allow each
child to express and explore what his or her understanding of the theme
is and how it impacts him or her in their daily living.

Children’s Choir
This music program for 1st through 6th graders will begin September 23 and run through December 23. The choir will rehearse once a week on Sunday mornings from 9 to 9:35 a.m. in Room 6. Members will learn musical
interpretation and performance techniques. The Choir will share its musical offerings throughout the year at Sunday morning services, perform holiday concerts and present an annual recital. Children's Choir does remain open throughout the season, so register your child at the Youth & Family Ministry office!
POP (Preschool Orff Program) — This music program for 4-year-olds and kindergartners begins September 30 and runs through December 9. Rehearsals will be held once a week on Sunday mornings from 8:55 to 9:25 a.m. in Room 1. Children will be introduced to the beautifully crafted instruments designed by conductor Carl Orff, which promote attention to sound, pitch and tone. Children become aware of the laws of formal rhythm and tonal relationships, along with the sheer joy of making music. Enrollment in this program is limited by number of instruments available. Registration is closed two weeks after the start date.
