Annual Family Events

Throughout the year, watch for the following fun family events:

Easter Egg Hunt and Easter Art Walk

Unity’s annual Easter Egg Hunt gives toddlers through 5th graders a chance to search for donated plastic eggs containing non-chocolate treats and to visit with the Easter Bunny during this wonderful family experience.

Each year the children prepare their depiction of Jesus' life through art creations. Congregants are invited to take an Easter Walk and experience all the amazing works of art that will be displayed in the Courtyard on Easter weekend.

Halloween Carnival

Our annual Halloween Carnivalallows families to celebrate Halloween in a safe, fun-filled environment. Children of all ages are invited to come in costume—or just as they are—for an evening of high spirits and contagious joy that includes game booths, activities and yummy treats.

Crafts of Christmas

Our annual family "make-it-and-take-it" craft event is designed for children and families to create holiday gifts or decorations. With a variety of crafts at different levels of difficulty, there is something for everyone!

Christmas Caroling and Trolley Rides

Family fun and Christmas spirit abound on our annual trolley rides, as we enjoy singing Christmas carols while looking at holiday lights. Meet in the Courtyard to warm up your voice, and then jump onto the trolleys to take in the lights of surrounding neighborhoods. This Unity favorite always sells out within the first two weeks ... so be sure to get your tickets early!!!

Summer Drama Camp

Interested graduated 4th-7th graders enjoy a summer-long camp during which they prepare for a production at summer's end. Some past memorable shows: Pinnochio, The Little Mermaid, and The Wizard of Oz.

Summer Peace Camp

This week-long summer day camp features lots of games, crafts, group-building and teamwork activities. This year’s theme is “Birds of a Feather,” and we’ll explore themes of basic human needs, safety and trust, love and belonging, self-esteem, and self-actualization.

Southwest Unity's Regional Kids Camp in California

Available for graduated 3rd-5th graders, this camp features five days and four nights of fun-filled activities, including interactive Unity lessons, camp fires/vespers, chapel time, spirit sharing, singing, swimming and canoeing.
