Quote

"Imagination is the most entertaining and most frightening of all our faculties.  It is the conjurer.  It can beguile and bewitch us; it can frighten or enlighten us; it can lift us to ecstasy or plunge us to despair."  - James Dillet Freeman

Scripture

“Raise your eyes now, and look from the place where you are, northward and southward and eastward and westward for all the land that you see I will give to you and to your offspring forever.”  Genesis 13:14-15

Thoughts

Are you ready for an amazing year – even better…much, much better than last year?  Or are you satisfied right where you are; are you in the “this is good enough” stage of your life?  Have you become “comfortable” with your progress and unable to visualize what “better” could even look like?  Has this past year brought you a few setbacks causing you to feeling stuck and fearful of what the future holds and you’re praying it just doesn’t get any worse?

One of the biggest obstacles that holds us back from realizing our greatest good, is our inability to visualize or imagine anything better than what we are currently experiencing!  The first step in living our life to its fullest potential is to enlarge our vision.  Begin by seeing life with eyes of faith:  ourselves rising to higher levels, our businesses taking off, our health, energy and vitality growing, our finances and relationships improving, and our dreams coming true!  If you have a desire for your life to improve, expand what you are seeing for yourself in the future.  Expand and use your imagination to see the greater good and the endless possibilities God has just for you!  Use your imagination to visualize the very best outcome in every situation.  We all produce what we continually keep in front of us.  If we keep an image of success in our minds, we will move toward success.  It’s a simple truth that we cannot give birth to something not first conceived.  We must conceive it on the inside, using our eyes of faith, before it will come to pass on the outside.  Open a space for God to use your imagination to build you up and help you to accomplish your dreams.

Just as the scripture speaks to: “Raise your eyes now, and look from the place where you are…” know and acknowledge where you are at in this very moment – check in with yourself on how you feel life is going.  This is an important step; be honest with where you are and with what’s going on within all areas of your life.  By purposefully lifting up your eyes and looking away from the details, the appearances and challenges of where you are at, it becomes easier to tap into a higher consciousness and perspective, which allows you to see the greater possibilities, in all directions of your life.  God’s promise is that we have everything we can see (visualize and imagine) available to us and it is truly unlimited and never ending.  We need only open our awareness, our hearts, minds and imagination to it.

Imagination is one of the most powerful gifts God has given us.  Every great thing that we see has come from someone’s imagination, from someone’s ideas.  Everything we do in our life comes from seeing the unseen first, seeing on the inside, what we want to experience on the outside.  Dare to step outside of your comfort zone today.  God has so much more in store.  Keep believing and using your imagination to see greater possibilities and amazing things will happen in your life, in your world.  Motivational speaker, John Rohn once said, “We can either make a living or we can design a life.”  This is the best time to use your imagination to create a most magnificent experience for yourself.  Don’t be complacent by just surviving your life, move into a mindset to design a life that will support and bless your highest, most magnificent self!  Use your gift of imagination and creative abilities to see the greater good, and that is what will come about!  God Bless you!

Prayer

Living loving Spirit, as I breathe into this message, I feel a surge of excitement as I embark on a new journey with faith and expectation.  Using my imagination, I develop a fresh vision for my life knowing that better days are truly ahead of me.  Thank you, God for always providing everything I need, in the moment I need it and I open my heart, my mind, and my very being to receive, thank you, thank you, thank you God!  And so it is, amen.
