White Stone Ceremony
Wednesday, January 4
7 p.m. Wednesday Evening Service
"He who has an ear, let him hear what Spirit says: I
will also give him a white stone with a new name
written on it, known only to him who receives it." ~Revelation 2:17
It's the start of a new year and the threshold
of unlimited new possibilities for the future.
This ceremony symbolizes Scripture's call to
claim a new identity for ourselves. The White
Stone represents a new beginning ... the
opportunity to live life in a new way by turning
within to discover a new quality and essence of
who we truly are. Listen to the new name and
life that Spirit is calling you to live!

Give the Gift of LIFE!
Donate blood or register
to be an organ donor
Sign Up/Register: January 22 and 29
Give Blood: February 5
There’s a hero inside each of us, ready to make
a difference when others need our help.
When you donate blood you ARE a hero!
Think about how the people who needed those
donations feel about you. You are, without a
doubt, a hero to them.
Over 700 blood donors are needed every
day in Arizona. Your participation helps to
guarantee the ongoing availability of blood
for the many patients who need it. And while
you’re at it, register to be an organ donor. Organ
and tissue transplants offer patients a new chance
at healthy, productive lives. It’s Easy, Quick and Painless to be a Hero!

at Palomino
Saturday, February 25
6:30 to 10:30 a.m.
Please meet at the church to carpool
Help us distribute food to people in the Palomino community. We’ll be working with Kitchen on the Street, an organization that fills the school gaps — and stomachs — of children experiencing hunger and poverty. We’ll help distribute fresh food, provide carry out assistance, break down boxes and clean up. Children as young as 5 years old are invited to participate, provided they are supervised at all times and are able to help with the event. We ask each volunteer to bring one nonperishable food item for donation. Sign up is required, as a registration form must be completed and brought to the event. Join Us in Supporting These Hungry Families!
Habitat for Humanity
Check Upcoming Publications for Build Dates! Join our Unity family in the joyful process of helping a family build their own single-family home! Since Unity of Phoenix is completely sponsoring the home, we will be scheduling numerous “build days” beginning in February. There will be volunteer opportunities for everyone ... No experience is required!
