Thank You to Our Former
Executive Director John Schroeder

John SchroederWe would like to express our heartfelt love and thanks to John Schroeder, who stepped down from his position as Executive Director in December after two years. John brought a range of skills and talents that were a great blessing to our spiritual community. His business experience and leadership was significant in controlling our expenses and finishing the last two years in a strong financial position. John’s hard work, dedication, enthusiasm and love for Unity helped move our ministry forward in many ways and made him a joy to work with and have as a member of our staff.

While John will be missed as a staff member, he will still be attending services and involved in the ministry as a congregant. His light will continue to shine brightly in our ministry. John will also continue to facilitate the two small groups he formed here: the Prosperity Group and the Edgar Cayce Study Group.

We all send blessings and best wishes for John as he steps into the next phase of
his life journey. When you see John, please take a moment to thank him for his
dedication and service to our spiritual community. Thank you, John!

MEMBERSHIP CELEBRATION

Twice a year, we offer congregants the opportunity to become members of Unity of Phoenix. Membership is not required ... It’s simply a way of affirming that Unity of Phoenix is truly your spiritual home, that you view it as a source of love and “family,” and that you want to be a part of the outpouring of spiritual support, encouragement, strength and joy that is characteristic of this spiritual community. On the two Sundays following our Membership Class, those individuals who have completed all of their membership requirements and wish to become members will be recognized at our Sunday morning worship services. In 2012, these “Member Recognition” Sundays will be held on:
Sunday, March 25 and Sunday, September 23
