Saturday, November 19 I Am Thankful that Life Works Hundreds of times today our hearts will beat and our lungs will inhale and exhale oxygen. Thousands of times today the cells of our body will be repaired or replaced. The sun will rise and set on its appointed time. Women all over the world will have babies. Couples will fall in love. Plants will grow, waves will break upon the beaches, and animals will care for their young. Life works. Without us thinking about it or planning for it, life continues to work. Today, I give thanks that life is always working. Whether I am awake or asleep, life is at work. Whether I am happy or stressed, life is at work. Life is at work every moment of every day. Life is always at work because life is of God.
