Friday, November 11 I Am Thankful and I Show It On Veteran’s Day, we honor all those people who have served in the military. Because of their service, we enjoy the freedom of our country today. Let us honor not only those veterans of military service, but all those who have gone before us: our parents, fathers of our city, founders of the company for which we work, former residents of our homes, creators of the clubs and organizations to which we belong, authors and artists who created works we enjoy. As we give thanks for all who have gone before us, we receive the blessings of their work and prepare the way for a better tomorrow.
