Summary Sheet - Week 3

Feast

Points:

God’s will for us is only good. God does not withhold any thing from us but delights in giving us the blessings of the Kingdom but we must align our minds with that abundant good. Each of us has a spiritual responsibility to feed our faith and nourish our souls with Spiritual Truth. Feasting on words and thoughts of peace, love, joy, health, understanding and prosperity is an important spiritual practice.

By simply affirming ‘God is my source’ ‘I am abundantly blessed’. ‘I am the light of the world’ ‘I live and move and have my being in God’. ‘God loves me and guides me in all situations.’ ‘All tings are working together for the highest and best.’
Life is a banquet, the question is,
Are you willing to pull up to the banquet table of life and enjoy the feast?
How can you support yourself and others in feasting on God’s abundant blessings?

Practice:

  1. Sit quietly for 10 minutes per day and allow yourself to feel the grace of God pouring into your soul.
  2. Imagine the banquet table of life before you and decide on the things that satisfy you and the things you want to leave. Decide on what you want to feast upon in your life?
  3. Create an affirmation that will feed your soul and help you remember that life is a feast.

Questions:

  1. In what ways have you been too busy to stop and enjoy the abundant good that God has prepared for you?
  2. If you slowed down what feeling would you be afraid to feel?
  3. Are you willing to trust that God has provided all that you need to have a happy and fulfilling life?
  4. Are your words and thoughts feeding your fear or feeding your faith?
  5. What new practice could help you nourish your soul and help you feast on the positive?

Affirmation:

God has prepared a table of abundance before me. I feed my faith with thoughts of Truth and Abundance. I feast on the positive. I nourish my spirit by only thinking thoughts that are for my highest good. I, _______________, affirm my good by feasting on thoughts of love, peace, joy, health, and prosperity. I am abundantly blessed. Amen.
