***ADMINSTRATIVE OPPORTUNITIES***
Divine Idea Book Store - (Four hours a week on daytime shifts; 1-1/2 hour shifts
available on weekends. A six-month commitment required.)
Assist customers and ring up sales. Volunteer for one of the available weekday or weekend shifts!
Compatible gifts: service, hospitality, helps, encouragement, administration.
Grounds & Facilities Support - as needed
Help keep our campus beautiful as part of the campus beautification/maintenance team.
Money Counters - Monday Mornings
Assists as we prepare our tithing
Office Support- 2 hrs per week
Assist in keeping all of our records up to date

Photographers - as needed
Photograph events, staff, volunteers, and congregants for the Upward Venture.
Receptionist Support - 1 Saturday a month
Assist by answering the phones and answering general questions. .

Service Angels -weekly
Assist with a variety of tasks from folding bulletins to preparing church mailings
Volunteer Reminder Team - 1 hour per month
Assist with reminder calls regarding outreach and special events

*** PASTORAL CARE OPPORTUNITIES ***
First Aid Medical Response Team -2 service a month
Be on campus, carry a pager, and respond to any first aid/medical needs that arise on campus
Prayer Chaplain -1 year commitment, plus membership & training
Be available to pray with people, and, lovingly open a space for them in prayer, and hold in confidence everything that is shared (more about our Prayer Chaplain Program)
Prayer Team -1 year commitment
An anonymous group who prays for our congregation and ministry daily as part of their personal prayer practice (more about our Prayer Team)

Administrative Support

Spiritual Education Table
Compatible gifts: hospitality, administration, service, helps.
Promote our classes by staffing the Spiritual Education Information Table in the
Courtyard between Sunday morning worship services. (One Sunday a month.)
Room Angel
Compatible gifts: helps, administration, service.
Support a class facilitator by organizing the room beforehand, overseeing sign-ins and
sales, taking the offering, and straightening the room afterward. (Duration of one class.)

*** YOUTH & FAMILY MINISTRY ***
Teachers & Co-teachers- 3 hrs a week for 1 year commitment
Create a loving spiritual community for our children by offering your gift to encourage, serve and lead. We offer a complete curriculum, training and plenty of support. (1 year commitment required)
Compatible gifts: teaching, encouragement, service, helps,
hospitality, evangelism.
Teen Leaders /Sponsors - 2-3 hours per month
Create a safe environment for our teens to explore their spiritual self
Compatible gifts: leadership, helps, service, teaching, evangelism, encouragement, administration, prophecy.
Storyteller - 1 service a week
Assist our teachers by reading stories to our children
Front Desk Greeter - 1 service a month
Smile, greet, sign in children, accept offerings, and enter attendance for Sunday School Classes

Beautification -1 hour per week
Clean and tidy the rooms after Sunday morning classes
Summer Relief Teachers - summer months)
Give our regular teachers a vacation by assisting in a classroom.
Classroom Helpers- (Two classes a month)
Create a loving spiritual community for our children by offering your talents,
love and laughter.

***WORSHIP TEAM OPPORTUNITIES ***
Ushers - 1 Sunday service a month
Assist folks in finding seats, pass out welcome packets, collect offerings
Compatible gifts: hospitality, service, helps, encouragement.
Greeters - 1 Sunday service a month
Hand out bulletins and create a loving and sacred space for everyone who comes to worship at Unity of Phoenix Compatible gifts: hospitality, service, helps, encouragement.
Membership Team - 2 times a year
Plan and coordinate our New Member Orientation luncheons and Recognition.
Compatible gifts: hospitality, service, helps, administration.
Seat Angels- weekly
Replenish prayer slips and other information in the backs of seats between Sunday Morning
Special Services -as needed
Serve in a wide variety of ways during our special services

Hospitality Team - 2 Sunday mornings a month
Serve smiles along with goodies and beverages.

Name Badge Team - second Sunday, every month
Greet and give everyone a name badge who does not have one.
Welcome Team - 2 services a month
Greet, welcome people as they come on to the courtyard, and answer questions for newcomers every Sunday at the Welcome Tent.
