***NOTICE***Anyone interested in attending the Sleeping Beauty Ballet on Friday, 2/10 needs to RSVP to Terri @ (503) 319-8629. The performance begins at 7:30 p.m., but it is proposed that the group meet for a 5:00 p.m. happy hour and carpool to the ballet. Tickets are $37.50, with a discount, for great seats, but cheaper tickets, as well. Please advice Terri, by Friday, if you wish to attend, as well as the price range you are interested in.

***NOTICE***Anyone interested in attending the 4/5 production of The Great Gatsby at the Harberger, RSVP to Rea @ (602) 996-1712 no later than 2/12. The production also includes a free pre-play discussion between the audience and members of the staff and/or actors. If a group of 8 sign up, tickets for the play will be discounted to $42 for main seating and $25 for balcony, vs. the regular price of $53 and $32. Reservations are with payment only and are nonrefundable.

We’ll start with a lesson of easy and cool-looking dance steps to popular music, with a dance party afterward. Dress nicely, but comfortably, As a bonus, there will be a fun and easy personality test to learn your personal style and the types of those you are compatible with. Learn if you’re “flirty”, “fun,” or “romantic” and then meet others who are your type! A minimum number of people need to sign up for the party to be held. Dances for Universal Peace
Shrine of Holy Wisdom 5025 S. Ash Suite B-15 - Tempe
(To get to the Shrine: Take I-80/Superstition, exit Mill Ave going south. The very first street on the right is Carter Rd. Make a right. Carter becomes Ash Ave. as you drive down it. The Shrine is at the end of Ash Ave. Turn right into the parking lot at the end of Ash Ave. It will be the only building that will be open. The Shrine faces Baseline.)

Join Unity Singles as they Dance for Universal Peace. A dance leader tells you the sacred phrases to sing or chant, as well as shows you the steps. The steps ae simple and easy to learn. Some movements are done by yourself, some with the whole group, and some with a partner. Often, you get a chance to dance with almost everyone there, and there are always new people showing up. There is a $10 love offering, but it is not required. Feel free to invite a friend, as well as to call Bill with any questions you might have.

Arizona Renaissance Festival - Two-for-One Day!!!!

Highway 60 - Apache Junction (Highway 60/Superstition Frwy. past Kings Ranch Rd. to Festival Village) The Arizona Renaissance Festival is a medieval amusement park, a 12-stage theater, a 30-acre circus, an arts and crafts fair, a jousting tournament, and a feast. The Renaissance Festival experience includes meeting and interacting with colorful characters, shopping for arts and crafts, and taking in a selection of over 150 shows every event day. There is a great variety of food for feasting, as well as a bevy of beverages. In order to take advantage of the "two-for-one" day coupons, the group will meet at the church at 8:30 a.m. to carpool. In case you missed them in this weekend's AZ Republic and the Tribune, coupons can be obtained a Arriba's Mexican Grill, Phoenix Flower Shops, and Hall of Frames.

Sing your favorite songs or play your favorite instrument in front of a supportive and nurturing audience. Join in on a family-oriented 2-hour musical event on the 3rd Thursday of each month. Bring an extra copy of your music (chords and lyrics) and backup vocals and musicians will be on-hand. This event is open to everyone. A minimum $3 love offering is requested, and coffee and bottled water will be served for a donation of $1. All proceeds will go to Unity of Phoenix.
