The Path to Membership

Membership is never a requirement for attending Unity of Phoenix. However, if you would like to make a deeper commitment to your spiritual life and you consider Unity of Phoenix your spiritual home, become one of our members:

  1. Start by taking Unity Basic I and Prayer I classes to provide foundational spiritual principles that are the building blocks for your spiritual journey.

  2. Next complete and return a Membership Application.
    Click here     and print out the PDF form or pick up one  at the Spiritual Education Table in the courtyard on Sunday. You may fax the completed application to (602) 978-3248, mail it to Unity Church (1500 E. Greenway Pkwy, Phoenix, Az, 85022) or drop it off at church.

  3. Then attend a Membership Celebration (see below).
We will be offering these classes several times a year. Each class is a total of 4 hours; you can choose from 2 classes of 2 hours each or one class lasting 4 hours. You can take the classes in either order, as long as both are completed before you apply for Membership.

PLEASE NOTE: The completion of our Prayer I and Unity Basics I courses is a prerequisite for becoming a Unity of Phoenix member, Teen Sponsor, Chaplain or Board Trustee. If you are considering any of these roles, please make a note of these upcoming opportunities to complete this required coursework!

Unity Basics

Find out what Unity is all about! Explore the history of Unity, and
how the Unity spiritual movement began. You’ll also learn the five foundational beliefs that are unique to Unity, and how using these five spiritual practices can transform your life, and open your heart and soul to a fuller, richer experience of God and life.

Prayer is a foundational practice that cultivates our relations with God. Consistency in our prayer life is the pathway to deepening our awareness of our Oneness with God.

Continue Your Spiritual Path This Optional Class

Spiritual Gifts Workshop

This class will awaken you to your God-given gifts and how to exercise them in your daily life.

We are programmed by God with certain Spiritual Gifts at birth. Identifying and using our gifts is what our souls desire, and is necessary to achieve spiritual growth and maturity.

You will also learn to recognize the giftedness of others, and how all of our Gifts work together. Plus, you'll discover the areas of service most suited to your gifts.

Pick up a Spiritual Gifts Survey to fill out before class at the Spiritual Education Table when you pre-register for the class. (See Classes for dates)
