Leadership Roles
Staff Liaison
The role of the Staff Liaison is to serve as a two-way communication channel between the UoP staff and the strategic committees. Each committee will have a Staff Liaison. The Staff Liaison will be the SOLE contact with the staff for any and all staff functions. All Staff Liaisons will serve on the CAM Team in order to pass information to pertinent staff members and keep the staff abreast of committee activities. The Staff Liaison is responsible for providing communications from staff and leadership to the committees. Along with these duties, the Staff Liaison, along with the Board Liaison will be responsible for advising the committee on their assigned purpose and appreciating the volunteers for their contributions to the UoP ministry.
Board Liaison
The role of the Board Liaison is to serve as a communication channel between the Board of Trustees and the strategic committee, to recruit the chair and co-chair for each committee and to serve as chairperson in the absence of a chair and co-chair. Each committee will have a Board Liaison. The Board Liaison along with the Staff Liaison will be responsible for advising the committee on their assigned purpose and appreciating the volunteers for their contributions to the UoP ministry. The board liaison will ensure minutes are taken at each meeting and will forward them to the BOT president for distribution.
Chair
It is the role of the chairperson to lead the committee and ensure that it is successful in its purpose and activities.
Co-Chair
It is the role of the co-chair to support the chair as needed and succeed to the chair in order to provide continuity of leadership from year to year.
