Legacy

It's true, we can't take it with us, but we can leave the light on ensuring that our legacy is distributed as we wish — to our loved ones and to those institutions that have been important to our lives. Become a Fillmore Legacy Member by naming Unity of Phoenix in your will or create a charitable trust that includes the church. Talk with your advisors about what is right for you.

Each year, members of the Fillmore Legacy come together in fellowship to hear plans for Unity of Phoenix's future and to break bread. Members are also distinguished by the Unity Wings lapel pin. For more information, please call 602-978-3200.

Lend a Hand to Our Helping Hands Ministry

Many people have asked how we serve those in our community who are in need. One way we do this is through a program known as Helping Hands Ministry. For more information about this program run by our Pastoral Care Department, please visit our Helping Hands Ministry page.

Our Unity Wish List identifies those services and items highest on our list of priorities. Our most recent contributions included:
• A $500 donation to our Youth & Family Ministry
• The $200 Balance for the Communications Department Camera

•Cookies to serve before and after services: $75 per week

Building Improvement
• Lighting improvements in the Sanctuary: $9,300
• New silk flowers for the Sanctuary: $600

Events/Spiritual Education
• 45 chairs for seating in classrooms and events: $50 per chair
• Portable speaker system for weddings and memorials: $200
• A second barbecue grill for church and outreach events: $450

Grounds Improvement
• Repair of Greenway entrance: $7,000

Technology
• Replacement server computer: $5,000
• Seven new desktop computers for key staff members, including our ministers: $8,800
